Opening of the “Future of Sustainable Urban Development” Asian Architecture Exhibition

Under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Mongolia, the ARCASIA 21 International Forum of Asian Architects was held in Ulaanbaatar from September 4 to 9, 2022.The exhibition was organized to exchange experiences on architectural development trends both domestically and internationally, to promote Mongolia’s major development projects, and to create opportunities for international collaboration among architects.The exhibition showcased the best works of Asian architects and was composed of the following main sections:

• Works by urban planning architects from Asia
• Works by urban planning architects from Mongolia
• The future of sustainable urban development in Mongolia
• Major development projects in Mongolia
• Sustainable development policy and planning for Ulaanbaatar
• Themes related to the Silk Road intersection and the ancient capital, Kharkhorum
