Our organization successfully participated in the Greenbuild International Conference & Expo 2024, held from November 12-15, 2024 at the convention center in Philadelphia, United States. A team of five architects and engineers represented our company at this leading international event in the green building sector.
Organized by Green Building United under the theme \\\"Built to Scale\\\" the conference brought together global professionals, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders to discuss key trends in sustainable development, climate action, and international collaboration.
During the event, the U.S. Green Building Council introduced the updated LEED v5 standard, set to be implemented from 2025. Notably, approximately 50% of the revised evaluation criteria focus on reducing carbon emissions, making it a central topic of industry attention.
As part of the program, our team visited several LEED certified buildings, gaining first-hand insights into energy efficient design strategies, environmentally friendly materials, and advanced automated systems. One of the highlights was the Navy Yard project, where historic buildings have been carefully preserved and transformed into a modern mixed-use campus with offices, laboratories, and public spaces.
These experiences reinforced our understanding that green building solutions do not necessarily require high costs or complex technologies. With proper planning and thoughtful material selection, it is entirely feasible to implement energy efficient and sustainable buildings in Mongolia.
